Property building in The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi

Free drinks and icecream are offered over a long period each afternoon. The staff were very helpful to help me print documents and provided exceptional service and advice given how busy this hotel is. Ample umbrellas provided for use by guests. Convenient location to walk to shops, a variety of places to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the post office as well as metro stations. I stayed here in a twin share which was very spacious, and then in a single room which was cosy but well organised and very comfortable. The little bridge out the front and selfie booth on the roof are a nice touch to create photographic memories.

Breakfast in The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi

Great location a short walk from the nearest metro station, and about 20 minutes to get to Dotonbori with a Lawson next door. Hotel rooms were clean, modern and well equipped with everything we needed, and complimentary fresh water bottles provided each day which was a nice touch. Whilst we didn’t participate in the hotel’s free activities or ramen, the drinks bar had a huge variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and not crowded. Check-in staff were super friendly and helpful.

Lobby or reception in The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi

We stayed in 4 hotels during our trip and this room was the smallest. I would say this hotel is similar to a Fairfield by Marriott Hotel in America. The price is economical and you get a breakfast buffet (many Japanese and Western selections), free alcohol and ramen in the evening and free sodas I think anytime. These were nice perks. There are also massage chairs in lobby. The best thing is the location though. There is a Lawson and coffeeshop a couple of doors down. There are many shops and restaurants on the same street. It is a close to walk to many stores as well as the Dotonbori area. Location, location, location. The Bridge Hotel is in a great location.

Facade/entrance in The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi

Can we say FREEBIES!? This place was GREAT with the freebies. I ate free ramen in the evening at least twice and it was delicious both times. You could also just ask for however many bowls you wanted. They had activities during the day and had a board posted with what they would be by the elevator. There was also a free rental service so if you forgot something you needed, you just picked up a tag, took it to the front desk, and they lent you the item until you checked out. We actually ended up needing a bottle opener and voila - they had us covered. The staff were all incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in English - so absolutely no worries there.

Food and drinks in The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi

Such a lovely hotel with lots of cool amenities and amazing staff! That bridge entrance is adorable. The hotel has different activities on every night (like hairpin making & kimono try ons etc), free ramen every night, massage chairs in the lobby, and a cute rooftop terrace with a little photo spot. The staff even helped us send our luggage to our next hotel in Tokyo (via Yamato, highly recommend), amazing. Location was also great, just around the corner from the massive Shinsaibashi shopping district & Dotonbori.

Buffet breakfast in The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi

The location of The Bridge is excellent right in the heart of lively, bustling Shinsaibasi. The room was small but well designed, clean and comfortable. All amenities are provided. There is a great Happy Hour with complimentary draught beer, wine and spirits available from 3 to 9. It was very welcome for our stay as the weather was cold and wet. They also provide a bowl of free ramen from 8pm. The staff were so lovely and friendly. They did a demonstration on how to make takoyaki one evening and encouraged everyone to take part and then of course we got to eat it as well. Simply put, its a good fun hotel that I’d happily recommend.

Lobby or reception in The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi

The room itself was comfortable and clean - it was really kind of the hotel to provide complimentary water, which saved us many times especially returning from our day trips. The walls were very sound proof, our room was right next to the elevators and washing machine, but we didn't hear anything outside the shuffling of feet every so often. The tub was nice to soak in after long days on your feet. The hotel itself was exactly what was needed as a tourist. They have massage chairs to utilize and every night they had some sort of snack to help tide you over before dinner, or drinks to help you relax before bed! The location was prime! Close enough to Dotonbori to walk, but not close enough to receive all of the crowds. Right next to public transportation and right next door to world class coffee to boot (Lilo Coffee). It was close to some convenience stores and the area was fairly lively at night with people visiting the restuarant on the corner.

Buffet breakfast in The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi

Great location, right in the middle of Shimsaibashi and a short walk from shopping district and department stores. Can also access Dontonborri and Namba by foot also. There are also plenty of restuarants, convenience stores and vintage clothing shops around. Hotel was clean and tidy, staff very welcoming. The hotel has daily cultural activities for the staff to participate which is a nice touch and also offers free ice cream and ramen during the afternoon and evening. There are also massage chairs in the lobby for guests to use. Hotel has breakfast though we did not use this and also a coin laundry The room itself was decent and tidy if not a little dated. However still quite comfortable and did the job.

Food and drinks in The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi

Loved the facilities! Free beer, ice cream, hot & cold drinks, ramen in evening and massage chairs in the reception!! The dining area downstairs was also great as meant you were able to bring in food from elsewhere and didn't have to eat in the bedroom. We only had breakfast one morning but it's buffet style with plenty of options to suit everyone. The staff were super friendly and helpful and there are lots of items available to borrow from reception. The room was a good size, bed was comfortable and the linen fresh. The bathroom isn't the largest but perfectly adequate and nice added bonus of toiletries being provided. Location was also awesome with plenty nearby to keep you busy. If I was to stay in Osaka again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

The hotel was an overall great experience! From check-in to check-out the staff were very friendly and helpful in answering questions. The member I dealt with had great english as well. The hotel room was very clean and had all the items we needed, albeit a bit small in terms of space. The breakfast tasted fresh and had a good variety of items. The hotel also offers free drinks and has ramen, alcohol, and cultural events going on that are included with your stay at various times of the day, which made our stay much more comfortable.
