From the moment my partner and I stepped foot into The Bridge Hotel we were greeted with a warm welcoming presence. Despite it being busy, Ahmed at the front desk ensured us that just because it was busy it will not compromise on the quality of our experience. Which was amazing to hear, and big shoutout to him because the entirety of our trip he really took care of us by giving us top service and excellent recommendations. I couldn't recommend staying here more, it was super central to train and subway stations, the vintage stores which you were basically surrounded by, amazing cafes and hole in the wall restaurants and Dontonbori and the Gilco sign was just a 10 min walk down the road! The hotel also offered a daily free ramen bar for a hour, free cultural events within the lobby, and our favourite part was the free soft drink, tea, coffee, and juice available to all guests staying at the hotel. I wasn't aware of this while I was booking initially but the added bonus of all these things + the staff being so warm and friendly truly made our Osaka experience exceptional. We've both said we'll be coming back to stay here in a heartbeat. Thank you to the Bridge Hotel team, they truly made our last few days of our Japan trip unbelievable.

The reception staff were friendly, professional and spoke decent English. Check-in/out was done at the reception counter. Our room was clean/tidy and well-presented when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and the room size was small (expected) and cosy. There was enough space for two people to move around and have two large suitcases open. The laundry facility was easy to operate and appeared clean. The washing machine washes for 30 mins (typical for hotels in Japan) and our clothes looked clean and smelled pleasant afterwards. The hotel organises free cultural activities for guests to enjoy/participate, such as kimono try-on, games and DIY crafting. They also offer free drinks (coffee, tea, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks) and free ramen and icecream at certain times of the day. The hotel is located a 3 min walk from Shinsaibashi Station and Yotsubashi Station. There are many restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and shops around the hotel. The neighbourhood felt lively and safe and relatively quiet at night. The hotel met our expectations and we were satisfied with our stay. We would be happy to stay at The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi again in the future.

We stayed in 4 hotels during our trip and this room was the smallest. I would say this hotel is similar to a Fairfield by Marriott Hotel in America. The price is economical and you get a breakfast buffet (many Japanese and Western selections), free alcohol and ramen in the evening and free sodas I think anytime. These were nice perks. There are also massage chairs in lobby. The best thing is the location though. There is a Lawson and coffeeshop a couple of doors down. There are many shops and restaurants on the same street. It is a close to walk to many stores as well as the Dotonbori area. Location, location, location. The Bridge Hotel is in a great location.

Can we say FREEBIES!? This place was GREAT with the freebies. I ate free ramen in the evening at least twice and it was delicious both times. You could also just ask for however many bowls you wanted. They had activities during the day and had a board posted with what they would be by the elevator. There was also a free rental service so if you forgot something you needed, you just picked up a tag, took it to the front desk, and they lent you the item until you checked out. We actually ended up needing a bottle opener and voila - they had us covered. The staff were all incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in English - so absolutely no worries there.

Free drinks and icecream are offered over a long period each afternoon. The staff were very helpful to help me print documents and provided exceptional service and advice given how busy this hotel is. Ample umbrellas provided for use by guests. Convenient location to walk to shops, a variety of places to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the post office as well as metro stations. I stayed here in a twin share which was very spacious, and then in a single room which was cosy but well organised and very comfortable. The little bridge out the front and selfie booth on the roof are a nice touch to create photographic memories.
